Fuck. I never realized that something that was supposed to be utilized to disguise the sheer FAIL
of people who cannot actually SING could be turned into something that could make a rapper think his
song sounded cool. We've got a recording studio here in our home... auto-tune has always been a last resort not
an attempt to be cool.
I suppose the last fatal move was when Kanye West self indulged on Saturday Night Live... but couldn't quite get himself in tune with his live auto-tune setup so he ended up sounding like a dying robot.
That said, there is finally a RIGHT way for people to use auto-tune.
